How to use a proxy server in WhatsApp?#

WhatsApp has a functionality to connect to the network via a proxy server.

By using a proxy server, the messenger will be available in countries where the app is blocked.

Users can connect the proxy server in the settings of the mobile app, bypassing the restrictions and still chatting safely on WhatsApp. Messages and calls will also be encrypted, and the content will only be known to the people in the conversation.

Green-API allows users to use proxy servers for free.

To access WhatsApp through Green-API's proxy server, settings are required:

Proxy Server: de.greenapi.org
Chat port: 8443
Media port: 8080
